Dr. Thacker's Car Involved in Accident
MINOR INJURIES TO PASSENGERS Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Minor injuries were received by three passengers rrhen Dr. T. J. Thacker's motor car, driven by his chaffcur, swerved to avoid a cyclist riding on tho road near Kaituna this morning, and overturned into a ditch filled with water. Dr. Thacker received scratches and also suffered shock, but was able to attend to another passenger, Mrs. Bean, wife of Canon Bean, who received head injuries, and Mrs. Thacker, who had a wrist broken. Mrs. Bean was taken by ambulanco to the Christchurch Public Hospital and after being treated under anaesthetic was remove'd to her home.
