Germany Beats Britain In Athletic Meeting
LOSERS OUTCLASSED IN FIELD EVENTS United Press Association—By- Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Monday, 12.15 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 20. At White City Germany beat Britain by 75 points to 59 at athletics. Borchmeyer had a convincing double, winning the 100 and 220 yards. Britain halved the track events, but was defeated in all field events. Superiority in the throwing and jumping events gave the German athletes victory. There was no untoward incident at the meeting, but tho Jews boycotted tho meeting and paraded outside the ground with anti-Hitlcrito placards.
