Douglas Fairbanks to Star in British Films
IMPORTANT PROJECT UNDER WAY (British Official Wireless.) Received Sunday, 7 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 18. Douglas Fairbanks is co-operating with Alexander Korba and Ludovico Toeplitz in formulating plans to make films in London for both tho British and American markets. Three pictures are scheduled for immediate production and tho promoters aim at bringing back to England many English artists who havo not hitherto produced hero on an important scale. Other artists not of British origin will also bo invited to produce, and the productions will bo given a world market through United Artists’ Corporation.
