Girls’ High School Garden Party To-morrow
All arrangements in connection with the garden party to be held at the school grounds, Fitzhorbert ayenue, tomorrow afternoon have been completed by tho Girls’ High Bchool Parents’ Association, and the great interest the event is creating is a favourable augury for its complete success. There will bo various stalls well stocked with attractive goods at prices that ensure a steady disposal, and in addition to ices and creams a delectable afternoon tea will bo obtainable in tfio assembly hall. The girls will give a splendid exhibition of physical drill and folk dancing, and an attractive programme of competitions and amusements has also been arrangd. In the evening a dance is to l|i held at the school, the music for which will be a special feature by Mel. Creighton’s jazz band. A convenient ’bus service is advertised in to-day’s Times.
