Rescued Four Men
SWIMMING CHAMPION’S EXPLOIT. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, Jan. 26. Miss Lily Beaurepaire, former Australian swimming champion, was the central figure in a thrilling rescue of four men who had been swept by the undertow into the heavy surf at Lome. She ran a quarter of a mile on hearing the alarm, swam two hundred yards, and brought the men ashore on a surf board.
