Killed by Hostile Tribesmen
NEW GUINEA TRAGEDY United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Received Thursday, 8.45 p.m. CANBERRA, Jan. 26. Hostile tribesmen in the Morobe district, New Guinea, killed two whites, William Naylor and Emile Clarius, and nine native carriers on January 7. Tho whito men were prospectors working in tho na/tivo nr on. A Government party went to the scene and were ambushed. In the subsequent fight three natives were killed, while there were no Government casualties.
