Scouts Break Camp To-morrow
BOYS SHOULD RETURN TO CITY AT MIDDAY
After just on a fortnight under canvas at Ngaputahi, Pohangina, the Manawatu Scouts are due to strike camp to-morrow morning and should arrivo hack in town shortly after midday. The camp was established on January Id, the Palmerston North Rotary Club providing all transport necessary to take tho boys and their equipment out to tho camp site. The weather was not favourable at tho outset but it was not long before the tents had been trenched and every provision made to givo tho boys comfortable quarters under all conditions. The weather has been ideal during this week and it will be with general regret that tho boys set about the task of dismantling the camp. It is expected that the equipment and the Scouts will be ‘'all aboard” by 11.30 a.m. when tho Rotary Club’s transport column is timed to leavo Ngaputahi. Personnel of the Camp.
