Milson
From Our Own Correspondent. A meeting of tho committee of tfl.B Milson branch of the Womcii’s Institute was held during the week, presided over by Mrs. Murphy. Other members present were Mesdames Crocker, Leslie, Calleson, Cooper and Miss Prentice. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs. Prentice and Mrs. Benton. After the secretary lead the report of the last meeting it was decided to arrange to have a demonstration of bilsket and tray making, also to hold two games competitions during the afternoon of the ilest monthly meeting. Cricket A cricket match between Terrace End and representatives of the Bailway Department was played during the week-end. Owing to the storm in the afternoon the match was declared a draw. Terrace End batted, . first and put up a score of 215. Railway had three wickets down for 41. Bice, 1 for 22; McGregor, 2 for IS. Personal Miss Dalgleish, of Ohakune, has been visiting Milson, and was the guest of Mrs. Hutchinson,' Ledds street. Mr. and Airs. Barley, of Montreal street, are at present visiting friends in the South Island.
Miss Joan Leslie, of Cambridge street, is visiting friends in Wellington.
Aliss Buby Gillen, of Potone, is visiting Milson and is the guest of Mrs. Cumming, Montreal, street. Airs. Bichmond, of Alontreal street, is at present visiting Wellington,
