Feilding Orchestral Society
CONCERT ON WEDNESDAY Tho Feilding Orchestral Society will give a concert in the Parish Hall on Wednesday evening. The orchestral numbers will include "Caliph of Bagdad” (B-oleldiou); intermezzo, (a) “Gossamer” (Felix Bord), (b) ‘Fline” (H. Talbot); "Blue Danube” (Strauss); and “Knight Errant” (W. Berdix). The soloist will be Miss Julie Worry, whose numbers will include “The Tryst” (Sibelius) and “Like to tho Damask Rose” (Elgar). The male quartet, Messrs. Kendall", Jackson, Donaldson and McDonald, will provide selected items-, and a ’cello trio, comprising Misses E. Eliott, E. Wycherley and V. Wood, will render /"Requiem” (Popper) and “Largo” (Handel). • Mr. W. T. Bray will provide xylophone solos. Tho programme is one that can be commended to all music lovers.
