CLOSING DAY AT TERRACE END Tho Terrace End Croquet Club closed its season on Saturday in beautiful woathcr. Several clubs were represented, and tho following trophies were won:— Golf: Airs Potrie (Feilding). French: Airs Davidson. Ladder: Airs Atcadlcy. Nine-pins: Aliss Nettlefold. The trophies won during tho season were also presented, as follow: The Feathers: Airs R. Jameson, A section; Airs Duncalf, B. section. Wednesday Aggregate: Airs Scroggs, A section; Airs Duncalf, B section, Bowlers’ Trophy: Mrs Duncalf; Tun-nor-up, Airs Bridcn Jones. A presentation was made from the members to Airs Scroggs (lion, sccre- ! tary), of a beautiful rose-pink cushion. Airs Scroggs in a few well-chosen words thanked tho members.
