A Children’s Party at Kiwitea

A children’s party i'or her little daughter lvay ■was given on Friday evening by Mrs. D. E. Batehelar at her home in Kiwitea. The lounge had been charmingly decorated with lemon and blue streamers and flowers in similar colouring and a delightful timo was spent by the young people in musical garjes and dancing both on the lawn and indoors. A guessing competition from which the children derived much entertainment was won by Naomi Craino. The supper table in the breakfast room was laden with good things and gaily adorned with flowers to match the pretty lemon georgette frock patterned in blue flowers worn by the small hostess. Little Miss Kay was responsible for all the decorations which were most artistically carried out. Mrs Batehelar was attired in navy georgette spotted in red and gold. Those present were: Bee Salmon, Nira Clapham, Nancy Gibson, Joan, Patricia and Amy Shannon, Margaret Luxmoorc, Ariel and Naomi Crainc, Audrey England and Ida Kilgour.
