The Greatest Selling Force
In a letter to the editor of the News-Chronicle,. Sir Harold Bowden. Bart., declared that, under modern and present conditions, the firm that did not advertise in some form or other could hardly hope to survive and was at the mercy of more alert rivals. In referring further to the activities of his own company, Sir Harold Bowden said:
* ‘ The Kaleigh Cycle Company has a great output to maintain, and a programme of expansion to carry out. We could not do it .without- advertising, and the great economy and effectiveness with which this can bo done by use of newspapers, suggests how foolish the trader is who neglects the greatest selling force -which the world has ever known. ’ ’
