(From Our Own Correspondent.) No Orders Against Belief Workers. At the sitting of the Magistrate's Court at Foxton on Thursday Air. J. L. Stout, HAL, was called upon to consider several judgment summonses issued by tradespeople against men employed on relief work. In each instance the defendants were men with dependents -and the Alagistratc refused to make any orders whatever. In commenting on the practice, Mr. Stout remarked that solicitors handling such eases should, before bringing them before the Court, make inquiries as to whether the persons concerned were on relief work or not.
