A Talented Duchess
Not many people at Home know what a very talented needlewoman the Duchess of Westminster is. She is an exceedingly versatile worker, and always ha 3 two, or sometimes three, big pieces of different kinds of embroidery on hand. She literally never sits idle for a moment, and her huge tapestry workbag goes wherever she goes. She also works extraordinarily quickly. One of tho most ambitious of her recent pieces of work is a Teally magnificent bedspread, while she has also made some lovely tapestry chair-covers and a small fire-screen in "petit point” of extremely fine and intricate design. The duchess is also a keen gardener, and spends much time in the lovely gardens at Eaton Hall.
