From Our Own Correspondent. Rifle Club. The local club held its first shoot for tho roso bowl presented by tho Hon. J. G. Cobbe, last Saturday afternoon, This is the first year that this competition lias boon held, tho winner to be decided by tho highest aggregate in threo shoots. The committee also decided that the trophy would be held for 12 months only, but would be won outright by two successive wins or threo at intervals.
