Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Lid. report as under on Askhurst sale hc-ld on Tuesday, 15th. inst:—We yarded approximately 2UOO sheep and lambs which met with quite a good demand and under tho hammer a total clearance was effected with the exception of two pens only. A very moderate entry of cattle came forward and these sold at prices showing little variation from late rates. A small entry of pigs met with a limited enquiry. Quotations: — Sheep: 4-yr. ewes, 9s GJ, 10s 2d; 5vr. ewes, Gs 4d; 4 and G-lh. ewes, 10s; fat ewes, 7s lid, 9s; s.m. cues, 5s lid, Gs 2d, Gs 3d, 7s; 4-tli. ewes, r,w. »S.D. ram, March 5, Ss ltd; ewe lambs, 5s
