Marking the conclusion of a delightful series of social events interspersed in the programme of the Master Bakers' and Pastrycooks’ conference at Palmerston North this week, the wives and friends of Manawatu and Hawke s Bay delegates were the guests of visiting ladies at afternoon tea. -the function took place at tho Broadway lounge yesterday afternoon, where the tables were brightly adorned with summer blooms.
