Feilding District Nurse
WORK OF COMMITTEE
The committee of tho Feilding District Nurse Association acknowledges tho splendid response being made by !tho people of Fcilding and district towards relieving distress in the town. At a meeting of the committee, over which Kev. Canon Petrie presided, thero wero present Mcsdamcs J. tf. Cobbe, Biliman, Barltrop, Fitzpatrick, Farmer, Bridge and Stalker, Rev. Mr, Copeland, Rev. Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Goldsmith. The secretary reported that every week between 50 and 60 families were receiving comforts, which were distributed each Saturday morning from tho depot in Fergusson street. Accounts amounting to £39 10/9 were passed for payment. Sister Smith reported 379 sick visits paid and sis patients discharged. Medical comforts had been given to five patients and clothing to seven families. Gifts of milk had been forwarded by Mrs. F. Mason and Mrs. Kcmpthorne. Gifts had been received from Mcsdames Hill, Berringtou, Mcilrov, A. Shortall, Gould, Kelly, R, Hcald, Beattie, Ho.sking, St. Agnes Guild (Kiwitea), Mesdames Watt, F. Short, Cameron, Mountfort, Misses Boddy, K. Smith, M. Byrne, Messrs. Hansen, Tappin, Tingey, Corpe, Hocking, Amos and Hubner. The following donations had been received: Mrs. J. G. Cobbe, £1 15/; Mrs. I. O. Curnow, 10/; Miss Bowler, £1; Mr. Lumsdcn, £1; anonymous, 5/; football, £ls 7/; M.8.M., 15/; proceeds of street collection, £1 17/; Feilding Motor Trade Association, £5 5/; Junior Reform League, £26 15/S; Mr. A. P. Levin, £3 3/; Mr. J. W. Bramwell, £1; anonymous, £2; Mrs. Millon, £9 15/; anonymous, 10/; Mrs. R. M. Watson, £1; Mr. Poole, £1; Mr. A. P. Meyrick, £1; Mr. W. F.
