TOR RELIEF FUNDS. “Kapai To Korero” is a well-known saying among members of Savage Clubs, and will no doubt be the expression of appreciation of those who attend tho public korcro at tho Upcra houso on Wednesday next, and which has been organised by the Manawatu Savago Club. The proceeds are to be handed to the local Central Relief Committee.

The club has some most talented members, who may be relied on to provido a variety programme of exceptional merit. For this occasion, some excellent stunts and sketches have been prepared and these will be interspersed with other items of a varied nature. “Tho Sheik" is a clever play with a uniquo method of presentation, and tho parts are well taken by Savages J. W. Davidson, G. Remington, 13. Rising, W. Hooker and J. M. Pearson. The Savago Pierrots will produce bright nuniDcrs' and novel items, in which they have already been particularly successful. Tho humorous element in the programme will bo further sustained by Savages Jacobs and Simpson whoso duets aro always well received, and by Savage C. R. Luke in elocutionary, items, 'while Savage E. A. Wolierman will contribute a song. The Military Marionettes is a novelty item which should meet with approval. Savages A. Hutchens and J. R. Jeromson will give one of their intriguing exhibitions of thought-transference. The Savago Orchestra consists of the leading ! male instrumentalists of the . city, and their numbers will be much appreciated. The box plan opens on Monday next.
