Foxton Talkies
The British Dominions ail-talking farce-comedy being screened at the Foxton Talkies to-night is really a picturisation of the famous play “Tons of Money,” that originally started the . ball of farce rolling when it was produced by Tom Walls and Leslie Henson at the London Shaftesbury theatre. It was later transferred to the Aldwych and did 733 performances. The film version of “Tons of Money" is said to be even superior to the memorable “Rookery Nook” for wit, humour and brilliance. There is no reason why it should not be either, because, besides the original cast, , which includes Ralph Lynn, Mary Brough and Yvonne Arnaud, it boasts wonderful handling by Tom Walls and the greater scope of the movie camera.
