Goorge Walker Beats Alley
MAINTAINS UNDEFEATED RECORD Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. The professional wrestling contest tonight between George Walker and Tom Alley ended in the fourth round in favour of Walker, Alley being unable to continue. Alley won a submission fall in the second round with a double reverse wristlock. In the fourth round Alley was thrown heavily four times and was unable to continue. A crowded house witnessed the match. Tho winner has thus maintained an undefeated record over the past two seasons. N Good Bout in Wellington. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. No falls were registered in the professional wrestling bout at tho Town hall this evening between Stanley Burcsh (13.3) and George Pencheff (13.10). The wrestling had been fairly even and the match was declared a .draw by refereo J. Lack. After tho first round there was plenty of action, supplied mainly by Penehelf, and the work of both men was fast, showy and of quite a good standard.
