Cambridge Decries Public Advertising
LONDON, July 8. Athletic clubs at Cambridge University have taken action to preserve the town from becoming too much spoiled by public advertisements. Tho University Hockey Club has forbidden the placing of notices on its walls, and tho University Rugby Football Club has taken similar action;
According to the report of the Cambridge Preservation Society, just published, during the last year advertisement stations have grown all about the town with alarming rapidity. The government authorities are also trying to preserve the amenities of Cambridge.
