Olive oil has many uses. In cold weather, if the hair be dry and brittle, the scalp should be massaged every second night with a few drops of olive oil. Any scalp will be benefited by a good rubbing with it on the night before a shampoo. In winter, too,, the many fires within and the cold winds without have a drying effect on the skin, which can speedily be relieved by rubbing lightly with olive oil after bathing. Olive oil Tubbed into, round, and under the finger tips and nails prevents them from cracking or breaking, and this is a wise precautionary measure before sweeping or dusting, as it absorbs dust and dirt.
