Easier Wedding at St. Patrick's Church
PERRY—PARSONS. At St. Patrick’s Church, Broadway, on Saturday, the marriage was celebrated of Alips Eva Parsons, eldest daughter of Air and Airs S. Parsons, Kairanga, to Air Cyril Pascoc Perry, eldest son of Air and Mrs Hugh Pascoe Perry, of Wellington. Monsignor AlcManus was the officiating clergyman. The bride made a dainty picture in her charming long bridal gown of parchment satin, the yoke of which was beautifully embroidered in palest pink and parchment beads. Her long sleeves had the new elbow gauntlet cuffs lined in pale pink georgette. Her skirt hung in two low circular frills from the hip hue and on the left side there was placed an artistic bow of satin lined in palest pink, the long ends of which hung into a graceful side train. Satin shoes were worn, Her exquisite veil of Brussels net worn well off the face and caught back with a small spray of orange blossom ,completed a charming toilette. Aliss Sybil Parsons was chief bridesmaid with Aliss Frances Alurray, of ITawera, in support. Both were daintily gowned in flame georgette frocks with felt hats, shoes and stockings to match. Their bouquets were begonias, roses and pompom dahlias. The bride carried a sheaf of white chrysanthemums and pink carnations. Mr Cliff Perry (Alasterton) brother of the bridegroom, was best man and Air Lloyd Williams (Alasterton) groomsman. The Church altar was prettily decorated for the occasion while at a suitable juncture Airs McDonald sang “Avo Maria,” with feeling. Aliss Bartlett was at the organ. A reception was held at Messrs Colbnson and Cunninghanie’s where the bride’s mol her received her guests wearing a charming Touniain model of brown georgette and lace with hat to tone. She carried a posy of bronze roses and orchid dahlias. Airs Perry was gowned in black with fur coat. She carried a posy of red roses.. The honeymoon is being spent in the South. The bride travelled in a Vermillion model gown, over which she wore a coat of Vermillion and beige velour tweed, with hat to tone.
