Among the ' competitions in the schools sections at the Dannevirke A. and P. show, was one for essay writing, open to Stds. V. and VI., the subject chosen being “An Imaginary Flight over Dannevirke and its Showgrounds on Show Day. ’ ’ The winner proved to be Miss Shirley Rogers, of Dannevirke North School.
