REPARATIONS EXPERTS CONFER WITH HOOVER
VALUABLE SETTLEMENT. BETTER FOR FARMERS THAN NEW FARM BILL Australian Press Association. Received Wednesday, 8.15 p.m. NEW YORK, June 25. The Washington correspondent of' the New York Times states that in conference with President Hoover, Messrs Morgan and Young stressed the desirability of having Americans .on the directorate of the bank handling German reparations as is provided in the agreement with Germany, which mus-t be submitted to Congress.
The experts were optimistic over tho Germans ability to pay and commended the reparations settlement as one which would stabilise Europe to such an extent that it would greatly benefit American export trade. They expressed the opinion that American farmers would derive more benefit from the settlement than they would from the newly-passed Farm Bill,
