INVESTITURE AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE
HONOURS AND DECORATIONS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. His Excellency the Governor-General hold an investiture at Government House, Wellington, to-night, at which he conferred the honour of Knighthood upon the Hon. William Nosworthy, and invested him with tho insignia of a Knight Commander of tho Order of St. Michael and St. George. His Excellency also presented insignia and decorations to the following gentlemen:— C.M.G.: Mr J. W. MacDonald, Public Trustee. C.8.E.: Mr J. B. Thompson, Under Secretary of the Lands Department. Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers’ Decoration.—Lt.-Col. N. S. Falla, CJH.G., D. 5.0., A.D.C.; Major D. C* Armstrong, M.C. The investiture was followed by a reception, at which a large number of guests were present
