Tho election of officers at the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ association conference resulted: —Dominion president: Major-General Sir A. H. Russell; Dominion vice-president, Mr. W. Perry; district vice-presidents, Mr. G. Hayden (Canterbury and Westland), Colonel M. AJdrcd (Auckland), Messrs B. J. Jacobs (Wellington), E. J. Anderson (Otago and Southland); Dominion hon. treasurer, Mr. J. D. Harper; general committee, Messrs S. Austin Car (Auckland), J. M. White (Otago), Wl E. Lcadley (Canterbury), A. T. Duncan, E. W. Batten (Wellington), E. J. Bramwell (Nelson); executive committee, Messrs J. D. Harper, C. W. Batten, T. Duncan, B. Burdekin, D. Colquhoun, D. G. Munro, Colonels H. G. Avery and G. T. Hall; representatives on canteen funds board, Colonel Aldred; representative on New Zealand Farmers’ union, Mr. Newton McConaehie.
