LONDON, June 24, Through densely-lined streets from which traffic was diverted, Goneral Bramwcll Booth’s funeral procession, a mile and a half long, marched to the Abney Park cemetery from International Headquarters. Tho bands played tho General’s favourite hymn tunes. Tho motor car conveying the casket was driven by Adjutant Pritchard, who had been the General’s chauffeur. Tho car had driven General Booth to tho scene of many campaigns. Mrs. Booth refused to ride. Accom paniod by relatives, General Higgins, tho leader of tho Army, and the leading Commissioners, the aged widow covered the long journey on foot. Thoy wore followed by an immense crowd. The service at the graveside was conducted by Commissioner Catherine Booth.

General Booth was laid to. rest in a grave lined with white and pink sweetpeas, beside his parents. Ton thousand membors of the Salvation Army fervidly sang typical Army hymns. The late General’s son, Lieutenant Bernard Booth, gavo tho final salute.
