RUSSELL STREET SCHOOL
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION.
A meeting is called for to-night at 8 o’clock at the Bussell street school for the purpose of forming an association of parents and supporters of the school. The householders’ meeting brought forth the suggestion and considerable interest was then shown. Since then the committee has received many promises of help from parents if thev arrange for the forming of an association. Bussell street school committee is keenly alive to the requirements of its now school and has arranged for a grand concert on Juiy 3. The concert should produce a welcome credit balance from which very necessary improvements to the grounds can be carried out. The Parents’ association will have a uumber of matters brought before it to-night by the chairman of tho school committee and those who are interested in the school’s welfare will find scope for their energies. A large attendance is expected.
