Reese, Mrs. Alex Reese (Christchurch), Mrs. A. M. Brodie (Hastings) and Mrs. Roberts (Napier). Mir-s I\. Osborne, Eketahuna, is relieving accountant, at the Pnhiatua office of tiie Taranin Electric Power board during the absence on annual leave of Mrs. Digby Smith. Miss Marcella Yijtes, Whangamomona. is tho guests 'of her parents atRun whata. Mangamutu Dance. Organised to raise funds for the Hall, the dance held at Mangamutu on Wcd-> nesdny evening proved very successful, included in the large attendance were visitors from Palmerston North, Dannovirkc, Woodville, Pongaroa and Ekctaluina. The duties of M.’sC. were capably carried out by Messrs C. Joknski and D. Mabey, and Newton’s orchestra supplied the music. Extras were played by Miss D. Jones, Messrs J. Cornford, E. Hirst and G. Wade. Hockey.
