WILD ABORIGINES IN NORTHERN TERRITORY
POLICE MUSTERED. SYDNEY, March 12. A Darwin message states that the police in the Northern Territory have been mustered to deal with a marauding expedition of wild aborigines in the Carpentorian district. Fifty men from a tribe surprised a camp, killed three men with stone axes and spears, looted the camp, and carried off all tho women and girls. A missionary pursued the marauders, who released the prisoners. Ho was threatened with an attack on the mission station.
