P.P.A. EXECUTIVE HOLDS MEETING
ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN PALMERSTON NORTH. The Dominion executive of the Protestant Political Association met in Palmerston North yesterday. Reports piesented showed considerable activity on the part of organisers in various jpart3 of the Dominion. Consideration !was given to the retirement from the j association of Mr. Howard Elliott and it was decided immediately to appoint a successor to him and to conduct a vigorous campaign dealing with all Protestant Political Association subjects throughout the Dominion. Arrangements were also ma-dc to hold the annual conference of delegates in Palmerston North on June 4 and 5.
A resolution heartily congratulating Sir William Nosworthy on the honour conferred upon him by the Kins' was unanimously carried.
