VINEGAR HILL BRIDGE
IN DANGEROUS CONDITION. It was mentioned at yesterday’s meeting of the Iviwitea county council that the Vinegar Hill bridge, a portion of which is undergoing rc-construction, was in a dangerous condition for traffic. It was decided to draw the attention of tho Rangitikei County council ti: the matter and to urge that steps be teken to erect some form of protection for car and stock traffic on both sides of the bridge. The bridge is controlled by the Rangitikei County council, but the Kiwi tea County contributes towards its maintenance.
