Land Party Shelters BOLLING’S RETURN VOYAGE DELAYED PRAISE FOR EQUIPMENT. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 12. (By Russel Owen.) Tlic expedition is amid a bad snowstorm. It 5s with much difficulty that the ship was prevented from being blown away front the icefield to which it is secured with anchors. The men ashore are safe and snug in tents but it is feared that the walls of the house, which is only half erected, will bo blown down during the storm. Visibility is almost nil. At four o’eloel: this morning, when the storm approached, the dog teams were unharnessed f.nd everybody told to tahe a muchneeded rest until the storm blew over. They arc in tents inside their reindeer riceping bags. A temporary kitchen has been set up, consisting of canvas and food boxes. The ship Bolling’s departure from New Zealand has been delayed for at least two days. Brophy is in charge there and the expedition truly has reason to be thankful for tho yxccllent equipment he has secured.
