LINTON STREET TENNIS DANCE

Palmerston North is buzzing with tennis 'enthusiasts at the present time, as the Manawatu Tennis Association is holding its tourney.

Last evening the visiting players were the guests of the Palmerston North Club at a dance held in the Anzae Club. . The usual good floor and a professional orchestra helped to make the evening a most delightful one. Bowls of beautiful hydrangeas were the only decorations. The frocking made a very colourful scheme. Mrs. G. Haggitt, who has worked indefatigably during the tourney with her co-helpers, left no stone unturned to ensure the decided success of the function last evening.
