INCESSANT RAIN IN NORTH QUEENSLAND
United Press Association—By Elcctrie Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, Jan. 5. Incessant rain has fallen on the Far Northern coast. The Fully and Herbert rivers aro rising rapidly. The Northern mail train to-day was unable to pracccd beyond Ingham. The trains to Cairns and Tablelands were also held up at Ingham. The weather shows no sign of clearing. Irmisfail reports that torrential rain is falling and that portions of the Johnstone district aro under water.
