CORONER EXONERATES MOTORIST FROM BLAME
AUCKLAND CRIPPLE’S DEATH Per Press Association. AUCKLAND,; Last Night. , That no blame was . attachable to anyone was the finding at the inquest concerning the death of William Malam Pirrit, a cripple who died after being thrown with his;., wheel , chair when struct by a motor car;driven by William F. Shaw on the evening of July 7. It was raining heavily tft the time. Deceased was being wheeled , along Great North Road, Now Lyon, when the car touched a wheel of,.the-chair resulting in the upsettlng' of the chair. The car was travelling at a moderate speed, ; Medical evidence was that death was duo to pleurisy, heart.’ failure, shock and general concussion. ; Returning a verdict' the Coroner said that no one was to Marne.
