PALMERSTON NORTH J; FIRM SUCCESSFUL. __ A special meeting of the Palmerston North Borough Council last . evening received twenty tenders for the erection on tho Occidental site, of tho public library and shops. . ■; V ; ' Y V The tender accepted was that of Messrs Anderson and Williamson, of Palmerston North, for £12,800. The original estimate of tho cost of tho building was £15,000. Mastcrton, Hawcra and Wellington firms competed for tho job.
