WELLINGTON, Last Night, The head office of the Union Steamship Company received a wireless message to-day from Captain Jaimay of the Company’s collier Waitoma, en route froin Newcastle to Bluff, stating that the 1 vessel was disabled with a broken tailshaft at a point about four hundred miles north of port.The Kaitoke, also a collier, will get away from Westport early morning and on picking. up tho Waitomo will .tow her to Auckland for repairs in dockt J: The Waitomo is a steel screw, cargocarrier of 4214 tons gross and 2719 tons net, built in 1011 by the Northumberland Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Newcastle, England. The engine was constructed by Richardsons, Westgarth and Co. Ltd. ' . ■ A
