1927 DANISH IMPORT AND EXPORT TRADE

■ LONDON. The United States comes second in the list of importers to Denmark during the calender year 1927, furnishing 15.1 per cent, of the country's total imports, according to a preliminary review issued by the Danish official statistical department. Danish imports were in excess of exports by 109,000,000 krone (£5,450,000). The total imports amounted to 1,659,000,000 krone £82,950,000), and the' exports to 1,550,000,000 krone (£77, 700,000). The principal export commodities of the country were butter, bacon, eggs, live cattle and beef and veal, over half of which went to England apd the majority of the balance to Germany. The principal import was unground grain and pod seed, to the value of 203, 000,000 krone (£10,150,000). Tho import of . automobiles (chiefly from America) fell from 35,992 vehicles in 1926 to 26,345 vehicles in 1927.
