HOLIDAY COURSE IN DANISH HIGH SCHOOLS
( ' COPENHAGEN. The Copenhagen High School Union has arranged for school holiday courses during the summer at eleven provincial high schools in widely separated parts of the country. The normal duration of these courses is only eight days, with two or three lectures per day, excursions to interesting and beautiful parts and in the qvenings entertainments, singing, and games. The I>ederiksborg High School has extended the eight days to, fourteen, and other distinguished men will assist the school’s own staff of masters in making these two weeks particularly interesting-and profitable. It is the first year that < the High School Union has taken the matter in hand, .but it has been going on for some years, during which between 6000 and 7000 young Copenhageners of all classes and professions have availed themelves of this opportunity. They pay the railway fare and £l/10/- each for board, etc.
