SUDDEN DEATH ALONE IN LAUNCH
OBSERVERS NOTICE ERRATIC • ...■ v'-V-. , (Per Press Association). . NELSON, Last Night. The sudden death occurred of John William V. Clarldge, aged 55, an old resident of Richmond, in unusual circumstances. • Deceased was in hla motor-launch off Saxon’s island when he must have had a seizure. The launch was seep from the shore steering an erratic course and eventually ran aground on a mudbank with the engine still running. : ~.r Those attracted by the launch’s movements found Clarldge dead. A verdict was returned at the Inquest of death from heart failure.
