ARE THIS SEASON’S HATS UGLY?
There are some really becoming hats sponsored by fashioh, but they are not very practical and they demand a rather elaborate coat or an afternoon frock —anyhow a full-skirt-ed effect, not a tight one. You cannot wear them with a tailormade because they are rather large, the brim being turned up behind and curved deeply and becomingly over the face. It is really almost a Dolly Varden style and is usually translated Into velvet. But I have seen some quite good felt ones made a little smaller. They will suit almost everyone, although girls who like a neat, trim style of headgear will not be in Jove .with them.
