FOR THE HAIR
A mannequin who is said (o be “the prettiest in Paris” has started a new fashion in hair-dressing. Her own dark hair U bobbed, parted in the centre and drawn back very softly from the forehead and ears. Then at the back, there is a little jewelled comb, worn at the nape of the neck and tight curls of hair twist up from underneath. A charming fashion for this particular girl, who has regular features. “headache-band” Is coming In again, and. it Is xyorn with shingled hair. Som6 of these bands are quite narrow, made of peau de suede embroidered with coloured beads, and In crepe de chine covered with diamante work. At the back the band —to be quite correct —must be fastened with a small jewelled brooch.
