MUST NON-UNIONIST GO? [Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, Last Night. Owing to the indisposition of l\ir W. Scott, the employers’ representative of the Arbitration Court, tho Court adjourned to-day till this evening, when Mr Scott was still unable to be present. The Court sat In the evening, When It was asked to decide the application of a Gisborne employer, through the Inspector of Factories, for the interpretation of the .preference clause iu the Drivers’ Award. Tho question was: “Is an employer bound to dismiss from his service a youth who is a non-unionist, when requested to do so by the Union, provided there is a member of the union, either youth or adult, qualified for that particular work ?”

After argument had been heard, the Court reserved its decision.
