PLUNKET SOCIETY
MONTHLY MEETING. Mrs Sugden presided over the monthly meeting of the Plunket Society. Accounts amounting to £27/7/1 were passed for payment. It was decided to hold the annua', garden party on the third Friday In February. The tollowing ladies’ committee war elected; Mesdames Sporle, Tankersley, Lashlie, Misses Adsett and Baker. Subscriptions were received from the following:—Mesdames Cameron 5/-, Baker 5/-, Lovett 5/-, Martin 5/-, Fenwick 10/-, Rev. Father Cahill 5/-, Mr Levy 5/-. Donations ot 2/- from Mrs Martin and a sum of £l9 were also received. The Nurse’s report showed 43 visits to homes, 120 adults visited the rooms child visitors 112, and 8 new cases.
