N.Z. LAMBS FOR CHRISTMAS IN ENGLAND
TWO THOUSAND ordered. . —— i V The secretary of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, Mr. G, C. Smith, stated yesterday in Wellington that individual orders given to the board for the delivery in Great Britain of single carcases of prime New Zealand lamb for the forthcoming Christmas season number close on two thousand. This total represents a marked advance on last year’s orders, and show* since the board -started the scheme some two years ago it has handled approximately six thousand orders, and It is estimated that in this way prims New Zealand lamb has been Introduced to and sampled by over thirtyfive thousand people.
