Mr and Mrs J. Blunden’s son, H. M. Blunden and his pony, De Wet, have had a very successful innings at the various A. and P. shows, winning the Hastings challenge cup and first for the best boy rider. At Palmerston North he was the first prize winner of the two pony jumps, champion pony jump, and best boy rider; Hawera first for two pony jumps, best pony and champion pony, best boy rider, best boy rider over jumps champion rider under 15; at Wanganui, first, for two pony jumps and best pony. Mr and Mrs J. Fuller, accompanied by their son Ferris, intend spending ‘he holidays at Mount Egmont.
