At Palmerston North he was the first prize winner of the two pony jumps, champion pony jump, and best boy rider; Hawera first for two pony jumps, best pony and champion pony, best boy rider, best boy rider over jumps champion rider under 15; at Wanganui, first, for two pony jumps and best pony.
