FAT LAMBS EASIER PIGS IN GOOD DEMAND ADDINGTON PRICES. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night At the Addington market there were large yardinga in most classes of stock to-day. There was a particularly good market for fat and store sheep, but both fat lambs and fat cattle were weaker. Store sheep.—A heavy yarding, including a fair number of shipped sheep from Poverty Bay, Marlborough and the Chathams, also southern ewes. Poverty Bay sheep were the best of the year from the North, being from well-known stations, and over 1000 two-tooth ewes sold at 40/- per head. There was a very keen sale for all good class ewes which were up by 1/- to 2/- per head on last week’s, ewe lambs and wethers also being firmer, and the big yarding was practically cleared. Good twotoothed Romney cross eews 40/ to 41/-, lower-conditioned two-toothed Romney ewes 35/6 to 38/6, fairly good two-toothed halfbred ewes 39/8, fairly good four, six, and eighttoothed crossbred ewes 83/9 to 35/9, lower conditioned four, six and eighttoothed ewes 26/6 to 30/, six and eight-toothed halfbred ewes 34/ to 38/6, good conditioned failing mouthed crossbred ewes 26/6 to 29/, lowerconditioned four, six, and eight-tooth-ed crossbred ewes 22/6 to 2 5/6, aged ewes 8/6 to 15/6, good forward four, six and eight-toothed wethers 27/1 to 31/6, two-toothed halfbred wethers 22/- to 24/10, forward lambs 23/ to 25/-, fairly good lambs 20/- to 22/6, medium 18/ to 19/6. cull 12/6 to 16/6, good Corriedale ewe lambs 30/-, good threequarterbred ewe lambs 28/, cull halfbred ewe lambs 20/ to 23/9. halfbred wether lambs 17/9 to 19/6. Fat Lambs. —A yarding of 3,240, about 1000 more than last week. The market was easier by 1/ to 1/6 a head. Under 42s lOd per lb., overweights 9id to 9d, seconds 9|d. Extra prime lambs to 35/, a few special to 36/6; prime lambs 29/6 to 32/6. medium lambs 25/6 to 29/-, light 21/ to 25/. Fat Sheep.—A small entry of seven and a half races, and firmer sale with advance in prices. Exporters bought very little. Extra prime wethers to 40/, a few special to 43/9, prime wethers 35/ to 38/6, medium 31/ to 34/6, light 26/ to 30/, extra prime ewes 35/, a few special to 37/7, prime 28/6 to 32/-, medium 25/- to 28/-, light 21/6 to 24/G, aged 13/to 21/. , , Fat Cattle. —424 yarded; market slightly easier at the start and more so at the end, particularly for heavy bullocks.
